Doppler ultrasonic flow meters

Doppler flowmeters are applied for liquids with bubbles, gases with sound reflecting particles or turbulent clean liquids. It measures the speed of particles moving with the fluid or air bubbles in the flowing fluid.

Disadvantages: Doppler flow meters are sensitive to changes in temperature and density of fludi. These problems make Doppler flow meters unsuitable for highly accurate measurements in some applications
